MyKit
A free personal toolkit app for Android. It works offline.
What MyKit is for
MyKit is an Android app that puts the everyday tools one person needs in one place.
It is built for unstable situations: everything is stored on your phone, works without
internet, and uses as little mobile data as possible. There is no MyKit account and no
MyKit server.
What it does
- Feeds: read RSS feeds and YouTube channels, and import your YouTube subscriptions.
- The System (habits): build habits as small daily quests, with an optional AI coach.
- To-do: tasks in categories, with optional two-way sync with Google Tasks.
- Fitness: a home workout plan and a calorie counter.
- Knowledge: daily lessons in history and Islamic studies, in Arabic.
- Screen time: daily limits and focus hours for distracting apps.
- Backup: an optional backup of your MyKit data to your own Google Drive.
- The app is available in English and Arabic.
How MyKit uses your Google account
Signing in with Google is optional. MyKit asks for each permission only when you turn on the feature that needs it:
- Google Drive (app data folder only), to save and restore your MyKit backup. MyKit cannot see your other Drive files.
- YouTube (read-only), to import the channels you subscribe to into your feeds.
- Google Tasks, to show your task lists in MyKit's to-do and keep them in sync.
Your Google data goes only between your phone and Google. It is never sent to the developer or anyone else.
Details are in the Privacy Policy.
